VI.BE

The Belgian members of the European Blues Union are searching for bands and/or solo artists who want to make their way to European blues stages and want to represent Belgium during the 11th edition of the European Blues Challenge (25 countries). The EBC was organised over the past years in Berlin/Germany, Toulouse/France, Riga/Latvia, Brussels (AB), Torrita di Siena/Italy, Horsens/Denmark, Hell/Norway, Ponta Delgada/Portugal and Malmö/Sweden.

From all entries (deadline June 17), only eight acts will be selected. These acts will perform on October 15, 2022 at OC De Djoelen in Oud-Turnhout to show the best of themselves in a live finale, in a production of the Goezot team.

An erudite jury selects the act that gets the honour to represent Belgium during the European Blues Challenge in Chorzów (Poland) on 2 & 3 June 2023 (travel and lodging costs will be at the expense of the winner).
