For the first club edition of Vergeetachtig we are searching for hidden talent that deserves to be put in the spotlight.

Vergeetachtig is a collective introducing the UK Garage electronic music genre to Antwerp. Last summer, we organised several small-scale open-air events across the city, which have helped us gain quite a bit of exposure.

Now, on October 16, we’re organising our first club event at Kavka Oudaan, headlined by Gabriel Muñoz. Gabriel is a rising star in the UK Garage scene who will be playing his first Boiler Room set in Rotterdam this September.

This contest is for selectors that know how to set the mood for a UK Garage event. Someone that plays records we wish we already had in our playlists.

From all submissions, three finalists will be invited to perform at the live finale event on Saturday, October 3 in Warrecords Antwerp. From there one winner will play the opening slot at Vergeetachtig invites Gabriel Muñoz on Friday, October 16th in Kavka Oudaan.

Contest details:

• Submit your 60 minute UKG mix via VI.BE before 23/09/2026 — 23:59
• 3 finalists are announced on 26/09/2026 — 18:00
• Finalists will perform at the Vergeetachtig X Warrecords Finale on 03/10/2026 from 16:00 until 19:00
• Winner of the contest plays the opening slot at Vergeetachtig invites Gabriel Muñoz on 16/10/2026

The winner will not only open our first club event but also gets € 50, warm hospitality and 3 guestlists for their friends to join them in the booth.

The other finalists that didn't win in the finale will also recieve a free ticket for Vergeetachtig invites Gabriel Muñoz.

You must be available on Saturday, 3 October during the day and of course on Friday, October 16 for the first club edition of Vergeetachtig.
