Wooden Sound (Poppie & Disjokke)

Michiel Hannes and Jorian Laeremans, 2 belgian based youngsters born in the city of Antwerp.

Friends since they were born, but spinnin' separated.

Poppie started in 2008, he learned the first tricks from his brother Steven, who's making his own name with the Bokkeryders ever since.

Disjokke learned to match his first beats a few years ago by practicing for hours.

A few year ago they discovered that they not only share the love for wood but also for the same sound.. and a new dj duo was born!

The first time they shared decks, we had to call the firefighters.. The dj booth almost exploded! Ever since that day, they are hammering wood during the day and hammering beats during the night. With their ashtonishing choise of tracks and there unbelieveable mixing skills it's impossible to control your legs. They've just started but the future looks bright, with a lot of bookings coming up this is only the beginning...
