WolfTeck is a young DJ/Turntablist & Producer from Roeselare, Belgium born in 1996 under the name of Pieter-Jan.

Growing up in a very musical family, Pieter-Jan's love affair with music began at an early age. At 8 he expressed the desire to be able to make music and started playing the violin.

Just like everyone else he got his first MIDI-controller and started using the web to develop his skills. After noticing his striking eager to learn more, he got himself more DJ-gear using all his savings and money for his 15th birthday. The more time he invested in it, the more hooked he got to the art and complexity of deejaying.

But it wasn't enough. It was never enough. This is the moment he seperated himself from the others. He felt like he wanted to stand out in a way nobody else did. He felt like he wanted to prove something. Around that time, Pieter-Jan created his alter ego: WolfTeck.

He found his way of DJ'ing. Blending the old with the new DJ'ing. In his sets you can expect what he calls the "hard skills" (beatjuggling, scratching, live mashups, ...) and the "soft skills" (FX, sampling, changing melodies, beatmatching in phrase and in key, ...). So it's definitely no surprise his weapon of choice is 2 turntables, dicers, 2 CDJ-2000nexusses, a DJM-2000nexus, and a RMX-1000.

He now teaches and even got known by the younger generations by his most important saying which describes him as a DJ perfectly: "Skills Are Key".

Between all the practicing and with an average of 12 bookings a month he still gets the time to develop his producing. He mostly loves to produce RnB, Reggaeton, Moombahton, ...

WolfTeck wishes to become one of the highest skilled DJ's in the world, sell his own tracks and be able to teach 'the real deal' to the next generation. He always wants to get more out of his sets and tries to be as up-to-date as possible. For him, it's all about being the best he can by using as much creativity as possible with all his skills.

With his unique appeal, determination to learn to the fullest and be the best he can WolfTeck is for sure one to watch out for in the coming years ...
