After the split of their experimental post-doomband "Zeus Walks the Earth", Geert (bass) and Wim (guitar) decided to start a new project, this time going for a more sludgy stonerdoom sound. Think: slow and heavy. Drummer Sylvester and vocalist/guitarist Glenn were the last two missing pieces. Rehearsals took off somewhere in the autumn of 2015, in which they tried to find a balance between heavy riffing and atmospheric soundscapes. Think Conan, Bongripper, Yob... These are just some of the bands that clearly have been a source of inspiration. In may 2017 Glenn decided to leave the band. Wim took over the mic and a guitarist was found in Pieter, an old friend who used to play guitar in “Zeus Walks the Earth”. The return of the prodigal son. With this new line-up, they finished the last couple of details on the songs and after a few more concerts they entered Patrick Delabie’s Studio 195. Four songs were recorded live and resulted in quite a raw/heavy and natural sounding demo, which was released 18th may, 2018.

“The purest of ugly, bouncing, sludge. This is what your family and neighbors, will learn to fear” is just one of the reactions posted on social media after the demo was released.
