Wayward Bound is the solo instrumental rock project of David Lenaerts, based in a home-studio in Ghent, Belgium. An avid fan of both old-school metal and post-rock, David started the project in 2014 to combine these two passions with various other musical influences picked up along the way. 2015's debut album “Public Isolation Booth” shows the result: powerful instrumental rock with a definite metallic groove, as if “Explosions in the Sky shared a studio with Prong and decided to make an album together” (- Kinky Star Ce Soir). The follow-up album “Human Instrumentality” (2017) continues in that vein but takes things in a darker and heavier direction, eager to expand on its musical influences.
