VESPER is an instrumental, progressive metal band that incorporates jazz-fusion elements with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek 80's cheese. Think Meshuggah and Animals As Leaders meets Allan Holdsworth and Chick Corea Electric Band.

From the angular, punishing riffs over ambient drones to ferocious fretboard workouts and compelling leads, all served on a bed of otherworldly harmony. The music of VESPER is like leaving the familiar behind and going on a musical journey to new frontiers.

Hailing from Ghent, Belgium and formed in 2023, the band was born from the ashes of Vermilion, a similar prog outfit, and now includes members of Wound Collector, Ænima, Gallia and Tortus Trio.
