Verona laat horen dat alternatieve pop ook zonder gitaar spannend kan klinken. Met piano als motor en teksten die je niet loslaten, bouwen we songs die balanceren tussen breekbaar en explosief.

De bezetting met drums, bas, viool en saxofoon geeft ons geluid een eigen kleur: soms filmisch en meeslepend, soms intens en direct. We spelen graag met onverwachte ritmes en akkoorden die je even doen wankelen, voor je weer ergens helemaal anders terechtkomt.

Verona is geen band van rechte lijnen of veilige formules. Wat we wél willen, is muziek maken die prikkelt, uitdaagt en mensen nieuwsgierig houdt.
