In August of 2021, Nico was invited to join Angelo's JAM 51. This worked out for some time but after the drummer left they struggled to find a new one, they thought about doing something completely different. One random night at a bar in Ghent, Nico met Liam and asked him to join, his powerful drum style proved to be what the band needed. After a couple of rehearsals Vending Machines was born!
