Bio

As a young singer, DAM VAN pursued her musical interests and studied Musical Education in Ghent. In 2010 she joined her first band, WeerWerk, for which she wrote and sang her own song 'JIJ', playing keys and synths until 2012.

In 2012, founded the band Recess, writing most of the songs herself. Unfortunately, due to career switches, the band came to an end in 2014.

From 2015 to 2019, DAM VAN also sang in several cover bands, performing music from artists such as Black Sabbath, CCR, Tina Turner, Uriah Heep, Sigma, Janis Joplin, and Gossip.

In 2020, DAM VAN was the lead singer and songwriter of Random High, singing the lead and backing vocals of a 6-track EP album called 'Henry'.

Finally, in 2025, DAM VAN was officially on air, releasing her first two solo singles called 'HOLD ON' and 'GENTLY'.
