In 2015, Xavier [VALK] discovered electronic music at the legendary Decadance and Kompass klub in Ghent. From then on, he knew that techno music did something special to him.

After a few years of inspiration, he decided to take lessons at the DJ School of Ghent in 2018 with David Fouquaert, of the legendary Ghent DJ duo Mo & Benoelie, also active at the time as The Glimmers, as his teacher.

The style of VALK is very consistent and tight. He likes to keep it floaty, mysterious, hypnotic and he very much likes to dig into deeper regions with a groovy touch.

His biggest inspirations are Ben Klock, Rødhåd, Ben Sims, Marcel Dettmann, Setaoc Mass, Dasha Rush, Deas, Seba Lecompte...

VALK is currently working on a new project in which he is showing his love for progressive house & deep house. This will also be under a new DJ name to avoid confusion. More news soon.
