Bio
Dr. Valery Vermeulen is a music producer specialized in electronics, electronic musician, new media artist and teacher. As a music educator he works as visiting professor at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent teaching on sound design and sound scape composition and as visiting professor at the Art & Technology department at Erasmus University College in Brussels (BE). In 2018 he moreover founded the Center for Music, Coding & Sound Design (Center-MCS) in Ghent that regularly organizes workshops and masterclasses in the field of electronic music.
He holds a masters degree in Music Composition at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (2012, BE) as well as a Phd in pure mathematics from Ghent University (2001, BE).
