I've always been drawn to music of a young age, it runs in the family from my uncles being local Dj's to my dad mixing at weddings back in the 80's/90's in Madeira Island. He used to take me and my mum along , so a wedding back then would run from Friday to Sunday afternoon ( a bit like present weekenders ) and two weekends out of the month i would be immersed in music, I think that's the earliest and first influence I've had. Fast forward thirty odd years that influence has turned into my passion, a passion that is expressed in my mixes and parties and with no fancy gimmicks, just two turntables and a rotary mixer. Blending records for me is transposing how i feel in that moment onto the dancefloor through an emotionally influenced selection, every time the journey is different and also my experience varies, it's very enriching, both for me and the dancers.
