Biography of the band "ULICOYS"

The musical adventure of the group " Ulicoys " begins at the end of 2010 Island Reunion.

Sofian , creative, has an irresistible urge to return to the stage, first with the times but the

desire to compose texts and out of drawers is stronger.

2010 - 2011 :

The first meeting with Nicolas Morillon , guitarist, drummer training puts the duo in an

energy Rock .

Then comes the encounter with Alexander Nakos , sampler .

Electro music mixes and changes the color .

The concept was born ...... it becomes collective Ulicoys and in very different styles:

Pop -Rock , Electro, French Chanson , Fusion

Sofian does not abandon the world of Rock which it is derived . He lets himself go over the

enriching musical events , adapts and evolves his music .

2012 -2013 :

Author , composer, interpreter, Sofian tries his luck in order to " test his compositions "

musical springboard " Zikmeup " and ends in national finals with two new musicians met in

Paris , Denis Kichtchenko drummer from the Jazz and Pierre Vincent Sachedina , guitarist ,

arranger, World music and Post- Punk.

Income in the Reunion Island , Sofian shared the stage with Dimitri Conte, guitarist interested

in Ulicoys project , Jean Rassiga bassist Gerard and Teyssier , drummer, arranger, and

Dorian , drummer electro

This is a new collaborative compositions Sofian ; reversals are abandoned.

2014

Ulicoys pleased to be selected for the first part of the group Kabardock

" La Femme " album award at the Victoires de la Musique .

Meanwhile Sofian continuous creation in a more electro style and come out a new EP with

two tracks Pascal Coguen , arranger sampler " 120 BPM " in France .

Sofian 's musical personality through the journey Ulicoys matures .

The goal is not to "kill" his creation.

His desire to original compositions in different genres depending on meetings and the story

of his life is an essential Sofian sharing with musicians from variés.C musical horizons is

what makes the wealth of " Ulicoys "
