Typed3f (Philip Vanloo) became interested in electronic music at the age of 9, starting with the classic Belgian retro sound and is still loving it.

Growing older, he bought numerous compilation CD's of different genres and was eagerly awaiting the time until he was old enough to go to a party.

After going to his first big party in 2008, he was overwhelmed. It was only a few days later when Typed3f bought two turntables together with some vinyl and started to mix the same records over and over.

Throughout the years, he's become more and more intrigued to the electronic sound, and started creating all different kinds of music.

While he produces all different types of genres, he will always hold true to the hardstyle sound and during performances he'll make sure to always play an older track or two.

Typed3f's name is taken from a programming term - his other love.
