Did you know there is music in trash? Trashbeatz converts trash into musical instruments and plays infectious melodies on it. Are you looking for a pleasant, original act to keep your festival or event trash-free or are you looking for a performance in an ecological justied way then it’s Trashbeatz you need!

Masked creatures dig out the craziest things from their trash-bin. The public doesn’t stay aloof but is invited to participate in this happening. From a living drum to a swinging xylophone, it’s all possible.

Trashbeatz is founded in the year 2003 with aspurpose to teach people more about music and ecology in a playfull, creative way.

Originally we started out as an electronic act (Finalist Belgian Electronic Music Contest 2004) but through the years we became more of an acoustic street/festival act (Dranouter Festival, Festival van Vlaanderen, StuBru, Totaalfestival Bladel (nl), STAM Gent, Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam (nl), ... .

As 'acoustic trash band' and with the workshop ‘making music with trash’we already toured all around the ?flemischcountry and beyond.

And ecology is still a central theme.
