Thomas’ first love had always been movies. Losing himself in stories, characters and music is what lead him to pursue his own journey in many different creative ways. When he discovered electronic music however, his life fundamentally changed. He found a way to convey his imagination and emotions, without words or visuals. At times it made him completely lose himself and he became someone else. Someone who was free in all the ways he was not.

He called his alter-ego Noah Vosen and it led to the creation of a concept EP called Eudaimonia. This project is a conversation between the two personalities through singing and rapping over electronic beats. It was an attempt to converge two personalities into one.

This attempt, however, backfired and Noah Vosen took over. This caused a period of existential crisis, so Thomas decided to part ways for a while and reconnect with life outside of music. Ofcourse leaving behind music was impossible, so he figured out a way back into it in a quite literal sense. He decided to start making music to walk to. One step at a time at 100 beats per minute.

Now we’re back with an album called “In Your Shoes”. A collection of 8 tracks to walk to and accompany your own life journey. The music is based on ‘The Hero’s Journey’, a common narrative archetype, or story template, that involves a hero who goes on an adventure, learns a lesson, wins a victory with that newfound knowledge, and then returns home transformed.

Noah Vosen walks along as a feature on two of the tracks and will forever be a part of Thomas’ musical journey.

So how do you decide on a new name for two identities?

Just put two and two together.
