Thomas Estro

At the young age of 7, Thomas Van Hoof, now known as ‘Thomas Estro’, discovered that music would become a very important part of his life. As a little boy, he started taking lessons, to learn more about the theoretical side of music. At the age of 8, Thomas learned how to play on his very first instrument, a saxophone. Afterwards, he also learned how to play several other instruments such as drums, marimba… Thomas’ other talent was discovered at the age of 9. After being selected for the children choir of an international artist, he sang at some big events all over Belgium. At the age of 13, Thomas started listening to electronic dance music. It didn’t take long before he wanted to become a DJ such as those who were playing at the biggest festivals around the world such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto… Thomas bought his first DJ-set and started practicing. But only playing music from other artists couldn’t please him so he started to learn how to make his own electronic dance music. After working for several years, he created his own style which is characterized by drum ensembles, uplifting melodies and heavy drops. Today, he is working hard in his studio to improve his skills to make his dream come true!
