The Small Ships zijn het alter ego van singer-songwriter Kenneth Brownlie. Kenneth is afkomstig uit Aberdeen (Scotland) en brengt mooie indie- en folkmuziek zonder pretentie.

Hij huist nu in Mechelen en speelt samen met Olaf Janssens (van onder andere Kowzi aan piano en zang) liedjes vol karakter en karakters.
