Music allows us to express feelings and thoughts that cannot be evaluated with words. Today's world has many new and sometimes confusing moments for us that we cannot grasp with our words. The band name "THE PEYKAY" derives from this idea. This artificial word is free of any meaning and thus the ideal vehicle to convey all those topics for which there are no words. Our music describes moments of trouble and confusion as well as moods of exuberance and overwhelming joy. We capture these emotions thematically and bring them to life in our songs. Our audience can then listen to our interpretation or find their very own. Our motto: “Just let the music speak for itself.” The band THE PEYKAY was founded in December 2016 by three musicians from Aachen (germany) and the East Belgian Eifel. Their first single is entitled "In The Clouds" and was released on 22.05.2017 with a music video. In their home, it made it right to the top of the charts and stayed there for weeks. The very different musical influences of the three band members lead them to their very own, modern style. Pop piano sounds meet powerful and rocky guitar riffs, driven by straight beats and progressive drum parts. The preferences for different musical styles merge into a completely new and modern sound.
