Bio

The Jokers are a duo who have been part of the Harddance scene for a while now. After they've been spinning seperately for several years, Ruben and Mitch came together by coincidence in 2008. Their love for harddance music brought them together and they decided to participate in a dj contest as a duo. They won and became residents in one of the biggest clubs in the region. The Jokers was born!

In the following years they played in clubs all over Belgium and were guests at several big festivals. They also hosted several own events. Their real breakthrough came when they got the opportunity to play at the mainstage of Last World Festival.

Their love for music guided them to the studio too. Ruben and Mitch invested a lot of time in producing their own sound. This resulted in a signing with Bomb Records where they released their first EP. In the meantime The Jokers were still smashing gigs all over Belgium. Beachland, The Hills, Hard District, Kick Da Bass are but a few of the places which got wrecked by The Jokers’ sound.

In 2014 they signed with Basic Movements Records and released several tracks on this label. This collaboration even resulted in the release of their own 'Belgian Blood EP' which was supported by a lot of big artists.

In the beginning of 2016 Ruben, decided it was time to pursue other priorities. Mitch was still not done with his passion for harddance music and continued The Jokers project. He was still working on the Jokers sound and trying new things.

On their 'Belgian Blood EP' they collaborated with an other artist named Symeon. Roy, aka Symeon, worked with Mitch before and they shared the same tast in music. After talking about it for a while they decided it felt natural to continue their journey together as The Jokers.

Until this day The Jokers are still active in the studio and are driving crowds crazy with their dynamic style and broad taste in harddance music. At the end of 2016 they signed with the Spanish label SWG Music. They released two tracks in the beginning of 2017 and their music is still supported by several artists in the scene. A third single is on the way and it looks like that The Jokers are here to stay.
