Teddy Dan is a highly talented Singer/Songwriter and true Rastaman, who has lived for the past 10 years in the Rasta spiritual homeland of Shashamanie, Ethiopia.Born in Jamaica, in the late fifties, Teddy moved to England in his early teens, where he developed his musical talents. His highly regarded first album (‘United States of Africa’) being released in 1993.

This link up with the Irie Vibes Band provides a unique opportunity to see this great performer outside of his African base.The show will feature songs drawn from a repertoire of releases that span Teddy’s 20 years of recording finely crafted Reggae music.

The Irie Vibes Band can usually be found providing colourful backing for Roots singer I Man T and have spent the last year or so bringing their dynamic show to festivals all around Belgium. The multi-cultural make up of the band makes for a perfect back-drop to Teddy Dan’s songs of Peace, Love, Unity and Equal rights
