Out of West Flanders, Belgium comes the Irie Vibes Band. A group who, over the past few years, have proved themselves as one of the brightest new sounds in European Reggae. The band have developed their skills as a tight Roots Reggae backing band, as witnessed by the recent shows (and subsequent live CD) with Rasta Reggae legend, Teddy Dan. The Irie Vibers have also been busy in the studio helping in the creation of Belgian singer, I Man T’s stunning debut album ‘Life’. This album provides the backbone of the live set now presented.

I Man T is a highly talented singer/song writer who hails from the Belgian city of Brugge. Although the ‘Life’ Cd is his first recorded work, it is a surprisingly mature album full of varied musical colours and textures. Based on Jah Rej rhythm tracks and augmented by some great playing by members of the Irie Vibes band, I Man T’s album is a modern Roots Reggae journey.

Under the direction of veteran producer Jah Rej (Jah Works) the Irie Vibes Band featuring I Man T, present a vibrant and exciting live stage show. Here the recorded works are interpreted in full detail into a live format with fresh arrangements and Jah Rej adding a touch of Dub from the mixing desk.

I Man T sings songs of Consciousness, Love and Life, his soulful vocals and skills as a Sound System MC make him a perfect front for the Irie Vibes band’s rocking ‘riddims’. This is modern Roots Reggae underpinned by old school values, a positive message, a beat to move your feet and bass to wine up your waist.
