Biography
THE GREAT HURRICANE ESCAPE is a southern-punk band from Dordrecht, The Netherlands, formed in the winter of 2013. Known for their dirty guitar riffs and intense live show. They are influenced by bands like: Maylene & the sons of disasters, Red fang and Everytime i die. In 2015 they got a request from entertainment rollercoaster park WALIBI to make a redneck theme song for their CAMPSITE OF CARNAGE area. In 2018 they released their second EP named SERPENT TONGUE, won Bandboost (Grote prijs van Dordrecht) Played several outdoor festivals and recently got nominated for best live act at the Dordts Popgala.
Also in October 2019 we played 60 shows! in Walibi Holland for the firepit area.
