Bio

Ruth TAFEBE and Giotis Damianidis met through Afrobeat when Ruth moved from New York to Bruxelles in 2010. She had already released and afrobeat album with the Afrorockerz: "Holy warriors" and wanted to take her perception of afrobeat to another level. He had been studying the guitar in Thessaloniki, his home town, Rotterdam and Bruxelles and had discovered and fallen in love with the music created by Fela, when becoming a member of Worldsquad, Oghene Kologbo's backing band. Now, together with a 5 piece-band (bass,drums, percussions and horns), they render a soul-tinged-raw afrobeat.

They are ready to make you dance.
