All from heavy and groovy riffs to melodic and swelling melodies. Tainted Black is a five piece band from Stockholm, Sweden, that like to take chances and explore the lore of true hard rock and that is inspired by classic acts such as Metallica, Black Sabbath, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC just to name a few. Originally founded in 2011 in the suburban town of Tumba, which is located south of Stockholm. The five piece played their first live shows in 2017 and were getting great feedback from audience and other bands as well.

They signed on to participate in Emergenza festival, which is a contest for unsigned bands. By a total of more than 40 bands, Tainted Black went on to come 3rd place in the finals. After the contest the band found new energy to take what had been done on stage to the studio, and they were ready to record their debut album. The road was long and hard but through blood, sweat and tears they finally finished the 9 original songs in the summer of 2019. The self titled album "Tainted Black" was released on 20/9 2019.
