Synergy who hails from Neerpelt, first trained as a guitarist, was more used to (heavy) metal music than beats, breaks and basslines. He was weaned onto drum and bass by hearing Pendulum songs back in the day, which inevitably lead to him trying his own hand at playing along. Not much later and he was hooked to the sound. Using a myriad of influences from his fathers endless music collection, right down to his own love of drum & bass, rock and hip-hop music, Synergy brings a unique balance of pounding kicks and snares, urban rhythms and a big dash of funk to the realm of drum & bass. After years of underground cultivation, honing his deejaying skills and sharing lineups with some of the biggest acts in drum & bass afterwards, Synergy is ready to show the world his musical capability. He has already made a stir, with DJ sets at Brainwash Festival, Breakdown, M&T Invites, Whacked, Maaseik In De Fik, Bocholt Beach Party, Chiro Beats and the list goes on & on. Playing these shows resulted in sharing lineups with drum and bass legends such as TC, Murdock, Nicky Blackmarket, Rollz, Maduk, ... to famous StuBru radio hosts Sam De Bruyn and Gunther D. With all that being said, Synergy is on his way up in 2014.
