StraZ is a Brussels-based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist shaping a raw and immersive sound, where fragmented guitars, saturated vocals and textured percussion collide. Sitting somewhere between electronica and club music, his productions combine driving rhythms with distinctive sound design. Live, he surrounds himself with his instruments to create an intense and cathartic experience.

This energy carries into his DJ sets, which move between bass, techno and percussive, with an instinctive approach to the dancefloor, playing with the contrasts between tension, groove and release.

After releasing his EPs It’s Okay To Be Mad in 2023 and After Madness in 2024, StraZ launched Rising Room in 2025, an ongoing series of singles and dedicated nights taking place every few months. Inspired by rave and DIY culture, this project turns each release into a shared physical experience. Three editions have already taken place, all sold out.

In 2026, StraZ was awarded the Bernard de Launoit Prize, recognising the originality and coherence of his artistic project. This distinction highlighted a strong creative vision rooted in an instrumental approach to electronic music, while giving StraZ the means to take Rising Room even further.

Released in June 2026, his track w h e r e w i l l i was played by HAAi at several European festivals over the summer, including Dour Festival, and featured in her latest Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, marking a first step beyond the Brussels club scene and opening his work up to a wider audience.
