Steve Reznik is an upcoming deejay from Aalst. He is involved in house music since he started to know a local club in his hometown. He started his passion with a friend back in 2007. Playing mainly the better progressive and house music sounds, he was learning the basics of deejaying step by step with vinyl. In 2009 he decided to buy his own deejay equipment which at that time was a huge investment for him. A first booking followed in 2010 on a friend’s birthday party where he had to play for a little crowd. Although it was only a set for an hour he realized that this was something that he really liked to do. Steve was practicing a lot from that night on and discovered also many other great clubs and events such as Café D’Anvers, Fuse, Decadance, Feestgedruis, Peep, .. In 2011 he felt he was ready to show his skills to the crowd. In october that year he joined a local qualifier for the semi-finals of the deejay contest of Push It organized by DJ Prinz & Jerry May (Push It, Café D’Anvers). He won the qualifier and couldn't believe it. At top of that he was qualified for the semi-finals where he had to play a one hour set on The Balcony of Café D’Anvers. Playing for a fully packed Balcony he won the semi-finals and took his spot for the finals. Ending second in the DJ Contest of Café D'Anvers after a great evening, he is working even harder than before to innovate and define his style to please the crowd.
