PJ & Mathias are young Belgian Producers/DJs, with a heavy Multi-Genre interest, ranging from Tech/Deep to Future Bass, Trap and Dubstep. Their Productions and Mixes display a true love for fresh melodic music, which they regularly showcase in the 'Starman Mix' DJ sessions. As Dj's, they love to raise the bar by providing a 'cross-genre' selection of tunes, while continuously striving towards a fast, harmonic 'in-Key' mix. Always on the lookout for crafty Remixes and fresh artists, whether it be Deep House, Electro or Trap, Starman Jones is bound to deliver a unique audible experience. As Producers, they started experimenting with Ableton in former Electro-Rock band 'DEViNE Soundsystem', late 2009. Within a few years they grew fond of the immense freedom and creativity Electronic Music Production had to offer. In 2011 they started producing by the name 'Starman Jones', focussing on pop-influenced Dance Music. Their first collection of singles debuted in September '11, followed by a series of popular remix projects (Calvin Harris, The Rapture, Yelle). In 2012 Starman Jones released a vocal track called 'Midas', which paved the way for a collaboration with Belgian top-producer Peter Luts, and got the attention of DJ's Regi and Tom de Neef. More recently, the guys signed a contract with Plasmapool's TRXX Records, on the release of their new Electro House single 'Basdaq' (out now on Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, ...) Future projects will Explore the deeper depths of Future Bass, Dubstep and Trap. Cross-breeding new sounds and rhythms with that well-known Melodic Starman Jones sauce!
