Stann is the gentle instrumental soloproject by Stan Nieuwenhuis (mastercab, doux). The result of many night hours in his homestudio is a mix of cornet and electronics that meet each other in introvert tracks, improvisations and soundscapes. A fusion of brassband and jazz with a warm sound will take you on a trip where time stands still.

Who is Stann? Stan Nieuwenhuis grew up in the local marching band Broedermin, symphonic youth orchestra's and teenage rockbands. As a classical composer this led to winning the European Composers Competition in 2015. As a young rocker this led to airplay on Belgian national radio stations with his band mastercab. Later both worlds come together in Doux. With soloproject Stann, Stan tries to make an ultimate fusion of all these influences.
