Chance is a funny thing, it brought together these fanatics in Lille suburbs to create a musical monster which they called “Spectrum Orchestrum”.

These fans of improvisation soon got used to hearing in their sound chaos, a singular mind, something mysterious which they described as “spectral”.

They then understood they had been gathered to devote themselves to the service of this enigmatic creature, which they named SPECTRE, and to work for its sonic manifestation ...

According to Professor Abronsius, Chair of Comparative Spectrology at the University of Königsberg, and author of the famous “Spectrum, my friend”, this music, either written or improvised, can be perceived as:

- Synthetic, single and multiple at the same time, exploring free jazz, progressive rock and experimental music, searching for a spectral wave

- Dynamic, travelling between light and dark, with violent or subtle energies

-Psychedelic, throwing the listener into a hypnotic maze of images like a dream-movie created jointly by David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky, Dario Argento and Jess Franco ...

-Expressionist, full of improvisation and magnetically oriented towards the magma of the here and now.

In summary, according to Professor Abronsius itis a "strangely beautiful, unorthodox and HAUNTED" music,. He also describes it as a "phenomenon of ghostly possession, quite common in African and Middle Eastern music, and that can also be found in the history of Western music.
