Southern Cajun formed in 2014 when Benoit came to Pieter's house, and saw a guitar in the corner. Benoit didn't speak anything but French, and Pieter not a word of French, but the guitar and the blues became a universal communication tool, and they both learned each other's languages using music as a medium.

Now 3,5 years later there's a 40+ shows under the belt, all over the country, in all different sorts of circumstances. Several songs have all been recorded at home, and are all online. Genre is hard to determine but definitely in the blues/folk/rock area of influence, and during the live shows the crowd becomes an integral part of the show with song-improvisations done on the spot, adding a little bit of an unexpected twist.

We love music, and all we want to do is share it with a maximum number of people.
