Short Bio

2010 : Soulivian was founded by Erik Van Hoof and Gert Vreys. 2012 : Bart Reinartz and Peter Vrancx completed the band. Being a 4 man combo in the beginning, Gert played the guitar and Erik played the bass. Since Erik's participation in writing songs was very substantial, Erik started to play the guitar. A period of auditioning bass players began. After the coming and going of a few bass players, Geert Feyaerts joined the band on the bass. A period of writing songs and rehearsing began.

2013 : Soulivian performed it's first live show in the Hnita club in Heist-op-den-Berg at the end of 2013. The club was filled to the rafters and Soulivian performed a 75 minutes set of own songs, supported with visuals.

2014: The band suffered a mayor drawback with the leaving of Gert, due to personal circumstances. The search for a new guitarplayer began. After several auditions and try outs of guitarplayers, Chris De Turck joined the band fall 2014. Chris learned the existing repertoire very easily and immediately gave his own musical touch to the songs, giving the band today's sound. 2015 :Soulivian started to look to the future again. A new live set was being rehearsed. Playing it's first live show with Chris on guitars on April 30th , the band proved itself to be an excellent live band again. Second half of that year, new songs were written, and new recordings made.As a preamble for an upcoming full album, hopefully in 2016, Soulivian releases a mini album "Constellations" containing 3 songs, good for 25 minutes of quality music in October 2015 as an own production as an unsigned band. The album is available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify and got excellent reviews of renowned rock magazines RifRaf and Rock Tribune.
