Sonnfjord is a Belgian band of five led by singer Maria-Laetitia Mattern with strong folk sounds and fluid pop beats. Sensitivity is written all accross Sonnfjord’s songs, composed by Maria-Laetitia and arranged by her brother Aurelio (keyboards), whom you may also know from Paon, and Francois Moffarts (bass and vocals). The groups is completed by Jerome Van den Bril (guitar) and Fabio Zamagni (drums). The melodies are intoxicating and the singer’s voice is sweet and pure. With a strong reminiscence of The Do, Julia Stone or Nouvelle Vague, their sound is fresh and authentic. After their first single "Seagull", they have now launched their first EP “Up the Wooden Hills” and a second EP is now in preparation.
