SOBEK came to life on the school desks of the Sint-Paulusinstituut in Herzele (Belgium). Every year, creative students have the chance to show off on the open mic "De Kerstmatinee". Elias, Jan and Sam found eachother during the 2014 edition, things very soon felt all natural and thus the little seed called SOBEK was planted in the fertile soil of the Belgian music scene. After going through some difficulties, we unexpectedly found our new bassist Edward, who had a refreshing influence on our sound! SOBEK tries to combine various genres (grunge, punk, funk, metal...) while still keeping the songs genuine and organic.
