Silent Noise Revolution is a project of belgian composer-sounddesigner Jan De Block. In 2015 Jan started to combine minimalistic piano with sounds from DIY electronic circuits: Silent Noise Revolution was born. He has been picked up by Nils Frahm to feature a track in Nils's annual Piano Day playlists since then. In July 2021 he released "Insides",a 10-track vinyl album, on belgian label Belgian Neumusik. By 2025 he has released more than 50 tracks.
In live settings, Jan starts building noisesscapes from zero. After establishing a pattern, he plays minimalistic piano to create contemplating moments.
