Bio
"Sekotetaa comes on with a righteous refrain and leashless funk we haven't heard since Prince primed the posture - and songs like 'We Dance Again' are more blastable than anything from that era."
- The Akademia Music Award (Los Angeles, California)
Although they have already spent decades in music and performance, it is the release of their debut album WE DANCE AGAIN that introduces their musical identity.
"They're unclassable, electrifying originals!!An upbeat collective of gifted musicians who will have eclectic music lovers screaming and jumping...If you know a friend who needs an attitude adjuster, this is the one concert you should take her/him to!!" -Lucky Club (Belgium)
Pauli Lepistö – vocals/beats (Finland) and Krzysztof Janiszewski – saxophones (Poland) have freely took the advantage of their musical backgrounds – from 80’s progressive ska/punk big stage concerts to classical music and contemporary street art breakbeat performances. After few years of creating, recording and performing live concerts, the combination of Nordic coolness and Eastern foolishness finally decide to release their sound.
"Le group Sekotetaa, duo finno-polonais installé à Bruxelles. À voir en live pourfaire le plein d'ondes positives à coups de styles mixes. Nous, on écoute en boucle le morceau - Papas Say No " -ELLE Belgique
"The beat is amazing…["1993"]...so much better than the original" -Radio Helsinki
