Ryu Winston, born Xolani Winston Maminze , is a performing artist, Rapper/ Singer and Songwriter from South Africa, in the Province of Mpumalanga in the region of Nkomazi.
Known for his capturing storytelling, mind blowing writing skills and his ability to deliver it.
He has been making music for more than 15 years, and over the years has released a couple of online singles and 2 Mixtapes titled Elephants and Kangaroos, and DINDELA. Which both have a life of their own, Elephants and Kangaroos being more of a heartbreak project and DINDELA being a project that tells stories of a Ghetto along with its dreams and dreamers.
He has collaborated with a couple of Belgian upcoming artist and currently a member of a Limburg Hip Hop collective called Zwaartekr8.
