Circle Unbroken is a Belgian band that was formed in 2014 by classical-schooled keyboard player/composer Franky De Mangelaere and academic drummer Martial Bonnetain. Very soon they found singer Marieke Bresseleers who had just finished her vocal-studies at the Fontys Academy in Tilburg (Netherlands). The band is further strengthened by jazz bassist Rutger Meert, classical schooled guitarist Matthias Jacobs & autodidact Kevin De Brauwer. Together they make music that ranges from heavy progressive matter to bittersweet melancholy.

In March 2016 they embarked on a European tour as support act of the German band Lyriel together with Aeverium (DE), Dreamslave (Fr) and Grim Justice (Au). After the tour they finished the shooting of the video for "The Call" , which was released at the end of May.

A month later, April 2016, followed the release of their debut album: Vincere, pro- duced by none other than Daan Janzing (Kingfisher Sky, My Favorite Scar).

On June 6th they won the finals of the FemME-battle, both Audience and Jury, and will perform at FemME III 2016 on September 24th at De Effenaar, Eindhoven (NL), alongside bands like Arch Enemy, The Birthday Massacre, Sirenia, Xandria, End Of The Dream, etc.
