Sometime 2020, The award-winning Poetwannes Records recording artist known as Rob & The Memes is spending time in self-isolation as mandated by the Belgian Government to help in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

To have time well spent during this quarantine, Rob is bingwatching (for the 11th time) the Flemish TV classic “Willy’s en Marjetten”. During the famous scene “Het Trouwfeest” the following sentence could be heard being mumbled out of Rob his mouth “You know, I'm something of a DJ myself”

And so it happened ... Rob & The Memes ??????????? ... was born during the nationwide lockdown.

Imagine the perfect soundtrack for a girls night out (pre-corona days) ... get ready for some knaldrang with the meiden until deep into the night (I can already hear the criticism)

• Tous Les Memes VOLUME. 1: As debut live at my performance on NRJ Radio during "NRJ Extravadance" on April 3rd, 2021. A mashup of TOP 40 Hit Songs from Post-2000, with the sole purpose of showing how similar everything sounds. I'm not making this shit up, just listen ... everything is the same ... tous les mêmes.
