Hey there!

We are Rising Sparks, an energetic pop rock band based in Chastre, Belgium. We got together in 2011 and are four in the band: Adrien (vocals), Mika (guitars, backing vocals), Manu (drums, backing vocals) and Julien (bass, backing vocals). What we do best is shamelessly catchy pop melodies, sometimes covered by an atmospheric ballad and sometimes by an edgy rock song full of energy. But the bottom line remains: melodies. We make all the music by ourselves, and always with passion.

Our first release "Silence - EP" came out in 2012. After its publication, we've done about 100 gigs in Belgium and abroad. And that is what we are known for: energetic shows, led by our charismatic singer Adrien. This was acknowledged by praising feedback in several band contests we have participated the past years. Last year Rising Sparks got the honour to open some well-known Belgian artists' sold-out shows, such as Puggy and Noa Moon.

Early this year, we launched a crowdfunding project in order to partly finance a new EP, called "Hey World!". The target amount was collected in one month, and in the beginning of March we entered the ICP studios together with UK producer Eliot James, who has previously worked with bands like Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Puggy and Two Doors Cinema Club. After a great and intensive week in the studio, Eliot mixed the tracks in London. Now they've also been mastered and are ready to be listened to by you!
