For those of you who don’t know anything about Ribaux…. They are two cousins Enrico and Erik Chiafele and there musical history is based upon a radio program called “Hang the Dj” on the Belgian radio (around 2000). Recording this program (K7) and searching for the specific vinyl began as a way of exploring their own taste. After ten years the room was packed with music/vinyl and they got together almost every week to check out the latest sounds and to play new (bought) remixes. While trying to get the basics of deejay-ing we started to have our own way of putting a mix tape together. Listening and re-listening to their favorite deejays gave them a sense of how they can build up a set and even more important which songs they are using. 2manydjs, Tiga, Justice, Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Marco Carola, LCD sound-system, Turbo Label, Ed Banger,… are some of the big influences on their musical taste. After 10 years of vinyl they decided to go digital and the gates of the “inferno” were opened because the availability of music became even bigger and broader. Their only reason to play music is because they are convinced that those songs will let you shake your booty, and that’s exactly what they do while deejay-ing!

So if you want a night were you go from “Hot Chip” to “Alan Fitzpatrick” to “”Anna” and “I feel love”.., from minimal to deep house, from electro to disco, from acid to hip-hop, from.. just look for RIBAUX!
