Railay is the travelling singer-songwriter project of Ays Sirakaya (Over the Sea) emanating sounds from Ghent, Istanbul and Malmö.

Ays began her music career in London, kicking off with a singer-songwriter duo, “Hymn & Heir”, later on continuing in Ghent with an alt-pop trio, “Over the Sea”. Railay is her third project and first solo project in which she unleashes her creative debut. The project has a growing traction and fan base in Turkey and Scandinavia.

Railay’s upcoming debut EP “Keep” has been written in Istanbul during the first COVID-19 lockdown and recorded at the Poolside Studio in Ghent during the second wave. It contains beats and hymns of R&B, decorated with indie guitars as well as powerful bass lines of Xavier De Clercq (Noémi Wolfs) and skilfully executed acoustic drums of Manu Waterschoot (Fabian Rasti).
