In the mid 2000’s Bert and Andy were in a band called The Last Requests. After TLR dissolved both members went their seperate ways. In 2012 they joined forces once more to form a two man band dubbed Pitchfork Messiah. Influenced by bands like Monster Magnet, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Lowrider and cool bands like this they combine heavy riffing with melodic soundscaping to create their own particular brand of bottomed-out fuzz-drenched mayhem. After recording a first song called Untold Rituals, with subsequent video, Pitchfork Messiah is looking forward to hitting stages everywhere in autumn 2014, while

recording their seminal e.p.
