After 'Zum Kotzen' Pink Room is ready to drop a second load of gritty garage trash. The trio (Bart Cocquyt, Jelle Lefebvre and Glenn Janssens) is known for its filthy and all-consuming bulldozer shows where no man comes out unscathed.

In March 2021 Pink Room will be back with 'Putain Royale', written in full lockdown period and put on rancid legs in the legendary rehearsal room 'In De Ruimte', a kind of Electric Ladyland for deranged sewer rats, one of the coolest underground venues in Ghent.

The album is produced at the Johnny Green Giant Studio. Pink Room must be pretty much the first noise-punk band who ever pass through there. Putting a greasy stamp on that place, that's what it's called.'Putain Royale' notably sounds even louder, bawdier and bolder than its predecessor, which was not an exemplary noise-punk band either, to say the least.

This time Pink Room went into the trash cellar with producer Rodrigo Fuentealba (Fifty Foot Combo, Manngold, Motek, Fuzztones,...) and the whole lot was mixed by Micha Volders. Furthermore, quite a few pleasantly disturbed spirits from the underground scene of Ghent dropped by to make their contribution: Lee Swinnen (Tubelight, Double Veterans), Bart Baele (Tubelight, Speedozer), Cis Deman (Stake), Sam De Clerck (Brorlab), Rubben (Vonnis), Tijl Van De Casteele (Whorses) and Jonas Calu.

Putain Royale' puts Pink Room one step higher on the ladder, but they haven't forgotten their dirty basement sound.
