Pi Fleuchels aka DJ Pi Nuts is a songwriter from sugartown Tienen, living in Antwerp. He's known for his constant stream of home-recordings in a rather lo-fi way. This homework led to a range of tapes, demo's and official releases. As a teenager Pi spread the tapes "Birds & Chattering Chickens" (1997) and "Pictures That Spark Your Spirit" (1998) while playing with his first band "PORTACHEVAL SHUNT" (Tongeren).

As "BUFFOON" (Antwerpen/Hasselt/Gent) he released 2 demo's "Sweet Sheets" (1999) and "Moonrain" (2002), which led the band to Belgian rock contests Debuutrock (2001) and the semi-finals of HUMO's Rock Rally (2004). BUFFOON released 7 inch "Major Tom" with Dutch band Voicst (Labelman, 2004), EP "Baloney" (2007, Kinky Star Records), CD "Familiar Sounds" (2010 - produced by Luuk Cox, mastered by Frank Arkwright, Kinky Star Records & Jezusfactory UK). Another demo "Ansistor" (2011) led to a soundscape of home-recordings, dropped as the yellow LP/CD "Chromoscope" (2013, FONS records & Jezusfactory UK). In 2020 there were the collection of unreleased demo's "Moody Glues" and the fresh album "Lucid Again".

Pi released 2 tapes on Gazer Tapes: the more experimental "Magnetic Feels" with the duo-neo-psychedlic-darkwave project "THE THIRD KIND" (Antwerp, 2019) and "It's A Place Of Death & Decay" as the singer of the indieband "WOLF SHERIFF" (Antwerp, 2019).

At the moment, Pi is writing/ recording songs with Erik Debny as The Concerned Consumers (Hasselt).
