I am Alex, a 24 year old guy from Belgium who has been into music since the day my dad gave me a copy of St. Germain’s Tourist. It all started with that one record and developed into an endless curiosity towards new and notable music in whatever genre or category of music.

From the moment on I discovered websites like MySpace, and later Soundcloud and Bandcamp. I always have been looking for that one artist who was about to turn the scene upside down. That creative genius that disrupted the contemporary establishment. This motivation took me on a never ending voyage through music blogs, youtube videos and press releases often until the wee hours of the morning. The lack of sleep was all worth it because when you finally discover that new artist you think everybody needs to hear about, you feel like a million bucks. And that’s exactly what I want to do on a day to day basis, sharing new and notable artists to everybody who wants to take a listen to the mixes I put out on a regular basis.

I travelled many musical roads during my younger years, from jazz, to electronic music all the way back to hip hop and funk. This gave me a kind of open minded approach towards music. Music genres are obsolete, is what the statement I try to stand for. When people ask me what type of music I play, I tell the girls everything that make you move your hips, and all the other people I explain that I play whatever I’m diggin regardless the genre or category of music.
