Bio

Pear Tree is a promising and young alternative indie band that blends elements of dreampop, jazz, electronica, rock, and psychedelia.

The band started as a music project between Joanne (vocals and guitar) and Kai (keys) based in Leuven. Joanne is originally from Thailand but started studying in Belgium. She made it to the battle rounds of The Voice Kids Thailand in 2017. After Cédric (drums) and Imte (bass) joined, Pear Tree later became a full band.

Their music can be described as a journey through the hidden paths of the night, where dreams and reality converge in a mesmerizing sound.

Pear Tree is inspired by artists and bands like The Marías, Lamp, Men I Trust, Mac DeMarco, Khruangbin, Cocteau Twins, Mazzy Star, and King Krule.

Now ready for the next chapter, Pear Tree has been working on their debut single to be released in early 2025. Pear Tree has featured on "Lights! Pt.2" by Porcelain Id alongside EVERYTHING IS VOCALS and TJE.
