Paul J. Simon was born in leuven and lives in Asse. He is attracted to many 'old school' music styles like pop and folk and spices them up with a pinch of country, soul, reggae, latin, rock, world music, and a bit of jazz influences: "I love funk, disco and pop but also classic music and world music. I invite you to my musical experience."

"As a solo artist, my goal is nothing less than writing and recording excellent songs, some with a universal or spiritual message that bring love, peace, respect...to our hearts in these evolving times and to this planet that finds itself exhausted and polluted by the unconsciousness of human kind; some might even inspire you to reflect on your life; but I also create happy tunes with funny or melancholic lyrics that might touch you."

As a songwriter, I am inspired by many different artists like Talking Heads, Eagles, Stevie Wonder, The Police, Paul Simon (yes!), The Scabs and I definitely want to write songs for myself and on request for other bands and for solo artists. It's what I love the most, in different styles.

These incredible gifted artists and bands inspire me the most: Billy Joël, Paul Simon, The Eagles, Milow, Earth Wind and Fire, Talking Heads, The Police, Stevie Wonder, ...

Releases: CD-single 'Sometimes', taken from the CD 'Follow your heart'; this CD with 11 songs, which will be released when the time is right. Because I believe these songs are timeless... 'My Way' got into the finals of a national songcontest on a known Flemish radio station; Different songs like 'My Way' and 'The watch' grasped the attention of A&R managers in Germany and the Netherlands and have pleased many ears and hearts. The divergent still timeless musical production style of each song on 'Follow your heart' make it a challenge for record companies to promote and pinpoint a 'target audience' for each one of them.

November 2019: release of videoclip 'Venise' by Bryce Bettens and a short semi-acoustic showcase @ B&B Het Verblijf in Lennik, Belgium. Release of songs 'Venise', 'My Anchor' and 'Glide, Glide, Glide'. GET AN INVITATION BY SENDING US A MAIL! Oct 2019: Live solo-performance for social gathering and 'Circle' of 'We have the choice' in Dworp. Winter 2019/2020: touring with monthly mantra-concerts 'Vollemaanzingen' with Brighid's Call.
